Cricket Corner Cemetery, Amherst, N.H.
<-Back Cricket Corner
cemetery is a small cemetery in Amherst, N.H. Our preliminary
investigation yielded some wonderful daytime orb photographs shown
below.
Photo #1 Photo #1 was
taken in the afternoon with a Nikon digital camera. The cemetery
is surrounded by trees and sided by a residential house on one
side. Though small, it contains a combination of old and
contemporary burial sites ranging from the early 1800's to recent
decades.

taken with the same Nikon digital camera a few seconds after photo #1
was taken.
![]() Photo #3 Photo #3 is
a zoomed blowup of the brilliant orb from photo #1. Notice the
colorful hue around the rim. This is something the NEPRS has
observed in many daytime orb photos.
![]() Photo #4 Photo #4 is
another brilliant orb that was captured on a Canon digital camera at
the site.
![]() Photo #5 Photo #5
was taken with the same Canon digital camera a few seconds after photo
#4 was taken. The orb is now gone.
![]() Photo #6 Photo #6 was
taken with a Nikon digital camera.
![]() Photo #7 Photo #7 was
taken with a Canon digital camera.
![]() Photo #8 Photos #8
through #12 were all taken with a Canon digital camera. Notice in
photos #8, #10, and #11 we see more traditional looking orb structures.
![]() Photo #9 Photo #9 was
taken a few seconds after photo #8.
![]() Photo #10 Photo #10
and #11 were taken within a few seconds of each other. Photo #10
contains four orbs. Can you find them all? Photo #11 is a
wonderful comparison photo of how much the 'orbscape' can change
within a few seconds..
![]() In photo #11
we see only one orb visible.
![]() Photo #12 One small
bright orb is visible at the far end of the cemetery. How can you
tell it's at the far end of the cemetery? Look at the tree leaves
that cover the bottom left corner of the orb in the zoomed photo insert.
